| Project Introduction
Within the main urban district of Leshan, spanning an area of 236 square kilometers, over 40 micro air quality automatic monitoring points are established following a 3x3 km2 grid. Additionally, 8 micro air quality automatic monitoring points are set up in the major industrial parks of Leshan. These points monitor pollutants such as PM10, PM2.5, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, and meteorological parameters including temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, and air pressure.
By deploying grid-based air monitoring points, the project fills the coverage gaps in the urban areas that were not covered by the existing national and provincial automatic air stations. The project enhances the dynamic monitoring and analysis of pollution sources by increasing the density of air monitoring. This improves the precise location capability of atmospheric pollution sources emission and significantly elevates the level of fine management of the atmospheric environment.
| Highlights of the Project
● The project employs high-sensitivity electrochemical sensors for gas detection and uses the principle of light scattering for particulate matter detection.
● The equipment used in the project is highly integrated, compact, lightweight, and low in power consumption and cost. It is easy to install and maintain, can be relocated, and is suitable for widespread grid deployment.
