| Project Introduction
The Suzhou High-tech Zone Environmental Protection Bureau has selected 135 key polluting enterprises and installed a total of 140 operational condition systems from BESCIENT TECHNOLOGIES across these enterprises. These enterprises mainly operate in industries such as pharmaceutical chemicals, sewage treatment, solid waste treatment, electronic information, precision machinery, and new materials. The project, which spanned four construction phases from 2014 to 2017, deployed operational monitoring systems in 135 enterprises and monitored special emission factors (TVOC and H2S) in some key polluting enterprises. This shifted the focus from "end-point monitoring" to "full-process monitoring". The system achieves real-time process monitoring, alarm and early warning, data querying, intelligent analysis, and report statistics for pollution control facilities, yielding effective regulatory results. The project encourages enterprises to place greater emphasis on the operational status of environmental protection facilities. It standardizes the operation and maintenance of enterprise environmental protection facilities and implements preemptive declaration of shutdowns. This helps environmental protection departments achieve source control, ensuring that enterprise operations remain under government regulation.
