On December 16, the 2023 Listed Company Board Secretary Performance Evaluation Ceremony took place in Changsha. The event was hosted by the China Association for Public Companies and co-hosted by the People's Government of Changsha City. Over 750 individuals, including board secretaries of listed companies, government leaders, and representatives of entrepreneurs, participated in the ceremony, which was themed "Resonating with You". He Yuanping, Chairman of BESCIENT TECHNOLOGIES, was invited to attend and was honored with the "30 Years 20 People 2023 Listed Company Secretary Duty Honor Memorial".
Distinguished attendees of the event comprised Song Zhiping, President of the China Association for Public Companies; Liu Lei, Party Committee Secretary and Executive Vice President of the China Association for Public Companies; Peng Huasong, Standing Committee member and Executive Vice Mayor of Changsha; and Gao Wenqi, Deputy Mayor of the Changsha Municipal People's Government.
From the inception of the first batch of listed companies to the present, China's capital market has developed over more than 30 years. The board secretary system for listed companies has also been established for 29 years. The "30 Years 20 People 2023 Listed Company Secretary Duty Honor Memorial" segment of the evening's ceremony marked another highlight of the event. The 20 selected representatives have witnessed, accompanied, and participated in the grand journey of China's capital market development over the past thirty years. They have traversed alongside the capital market, witnessing the forward strides of this era of dreams, and together, they have composed the magnificent chapter of China's capital market.
He Yuanping has a wealth of experience and successful cases in various fields, including successful entrepreneurship, enterprise management, investment and financing, finance, enterprise strategic development, and domestic and foreign listings of five listed companies. He is not only a renowned entrepreneur and financial and investment expert domestically but also a pragmatic expert in the infrastructure industry. Having been selected as an industry expert member of the Growth Enterprise Market Issuance Examination Committee, he has personally experienced the reform of China's securities issuance supervision system and witnessed the reform of China's capital market.
