The C310 Manganese Water Quality Automatic Analyzer is a product independently developed by BESCIENT TECHNOLOGIES. It uses the formaldoxime spectrophotometric method to measure the manganese content in water. In an alkaline medium, divalent manganese is oxidized to tetravalent manganese. This forms a brown complex with formaldoxime. This complex absorbs light at a certain wavelength, allowing for colorimetric determination at this specific absorption wavelength. By measuring the absorbance of the complex, the manganese content in the water can be calculated. The method principle of the instrument complies with the national standard "Water quality - Determination of manganese - formaldehydeoxime spectrophotometry" (HJ/T 344-2007).
