The C310 Ammonia Nitrogen Water Quality Automatic Analyzer is a product independently developed by BESCIENT TECHNOLOGIES. It utilizes the Nessler's reagent method to measure the ammonia nitrogen content in water, including both surface water and wastewater. The principle of the method is that ammonia nitrogen, which exists in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions, reacts with Nessler's reagent to produce a pale reddish-brown complex. The absorbance of this complex is directly proportional to the ammonia nitrogen content. The absorbance is measured at the characteristic absorption wavelength of this complex, and the ammonia nitrogen content in the water sample is calculated by the instrument. The method employed by the instrument complies with the "Water quality - Determination of ammonia nitrogen - Nessler's reagent spectrophotometry" (HJ 535-2009) set by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China.
It is widely applied in river assessment sections, lakes, reservoirs/water sources, hydrology, and sea inlet monitoring for stationary construction station water quality online automatic monitoring.
