In the water sample, sulfide reacts with hydrogen ions under acidic conditions to form hydrogen sulfide. This is carried out to the absorption liquid by purified air. Hydrogen sulfide forms a yellow complex with the absorption liquid. The absorbance A at 395nm is measured, and the concentration of sulfide in the water sample is determined by referring to the standard working curve.
The analyzer is widely used for online automatic monitoring of water quality at stationary construction stations in river assessment sections, lakes, reservoirs/water sources, hydrology, and sea inlet monitoring.
